Our vision is to adequately fund and support the protection, shelter and care of lost and abandoned animals throughout Monterey County.
FoCAS Accomplishments
In addition to assisting in pursuing grant funds for the original construction of the current MCAS shelter facility, FoCAS has successfully funded the following programs/services:
Medical equipment for on-site vet clinic Feline leukemia/aids testing
Subsidized spay/neuter programs Emergency medical treatment
Community education programs On-site animal ID tag machine
Cat playroom construction Construction of skylights in kennel area
Subsidized Microchip Program Special subsidized adoption programs
