Winners Announced for Traffic Safety Poster Contest

As part of traffic safety poster contest run through a Safe Routes to School grant, Soledad and King City students showed off their knowledge of pedestrian and bike safety by creating posters that depicted a traffic safety message. Categories included using crosswalks and stop lights, safe walking messages, safe biking and skateboarding including wearing helmets, making eye contact with drivers, and watching out for distracted drivers.

Ribbons for first through third were awarded to winners from each classroom, and entire classrooms received prizes for participating.
