Introduction to “Managing Your Asthma” Healthy employees are an asset to any successful organization. However, it's estimated that people with asthma may have up to 75 percent more sick days than the general public. For an organization, this means many of their employees may suffer poorer health and more absenteeism—resulting in higher health care costs and lower productivity.
