Healthy employees are an asset to any successful organization. A significant indicator of health and productivity is a person’s ability to handle stress and the day-to-day challenges of the job while still enjoying and fully participating in a personal life away from work. Yet, most employees acknowledge that trying to achieve work and life balance is huge challenge in their lives

Healthy employees are an asset to any successful organization. A significant indicator of health and productivity is a person’s ability to handle stress and the day-to-day challenges of the job while still enjoying and fully participating in a personal life away from work. Yet, most employees acknowledge that trying to achieve work and life balance is huge challenge in their lives

 

To address these concerns, Monterey County’s Health Promotion Partnership Employee Wellness program is providing this WorkPerks Tool Kit: Balancing Your Life   to you.

 

This Tool Kit will help you to learn:

  • define work and life balance in their own terms.
  • identify the factors that influence their work and life satisfaction.
  • learn how to simplify and/or reprioritize responsibilities and obligations.
  • learn the common signs of depression and how to seek professional help.
  • learn proven approaches for managing the challenges of balancing work and life factors.
  • learn about company and local resources and supports.

 

This Tool Kit is in 7 Steps:

  •  
    1. Introduction
    2. Pre-test
    3. Slides/content notes
    4. Goal Sheet
    5. Handout(s)
    6. Additional Resources
    7. Evaluation

 

Please complete each step in order. You may wish to print all the steps, however please be sure to print at least Steps 2, 4 and 7 as you will need to write on these pages.  Please return the completed evaluation to “Wellness” in the interoffice mail.    And, enjoy as you learn more about how to “Live Well”!
